It is a central station for a communication board, a utility shelf, and sponge count bags. The communication board improves patient-centered care, as it can be used for displaying critical medical information to the entire surgical team, such as specific information about the patient, the surgery safety checklist (SSC), doctor’s requests, and more. This improved communication results in decreased sentinel events and human factor errors. Standard Features
The unit consists of a compact and mobile stainless steel pole, which is height-adjustable by Tru-Loc™ Mechanism and stands on a 5-leg aluminum base.
The communication board consists of a whiteboard clamped onto the stainless steel pole for easy notation. Utility scissors conveniently located on the back of the communication board
The utility shelf is a hexagonal rotational shelf that can be used as a multi-utility flat surface that holds intra-operative used medications, small counted items, and multi-specimen cups. It also hangs up to 5 standard sponge count bags.
A holder for clean count bags can be conveniently located under the shelf as shown (clamped to pole) or on the back of the communication board.
