ISO 9001 Certification
Blickman
is engaged currently in a program of quality management that is fully
expected to culminate in ISO 9001 certification by year-end 2005.
Historically, Blickman has maintained its reputation as manufacturer of
both “Quality of Grade” products (i.e., standard manufacture) and
“Quality of Design” products (i.e., custom manufacture.)
Moreover,
as a long-standing supplier to the U.S. Department of Defense, Blickman
has been achieving product- and ISO-like quality requirements 30 years
before there was such a “Quality of Conformance” specification. In
fact, a Blickman Biological Safety Cabinet accompanied astronaut Neil
Armstrong on his historic Apollo 11 flight to help him collect and
transport moon rocks back to earth. This achievement earned Blickman
one of NASA's coveted “Silver Snoopy” awards for “outstanding
dedication, professionalism and excellent performance in support of the
First United States Manned Lunar Landing Project.”
Blickman
